Background
Nord-Lock Group is a global leader in bolting solutions. Their products are used in manufacturing trains, bridges, cars, wind turbines, boats – you name it. Avico was chosen by Nord-Lock to conceptualise and design a number of customer facing digital tools.
Our role
We worked with Nord-Locks team of specialist engineers to transform complex processes and calculations into easily understandable user interfaces, with the purpose to simplify both the decision making process and the ordering process of Nord-Locks products.
Result
The apps we designed will simplify decision making process for Nord-Lock’s customers. The apps also provide more reliable data in the product ordering process and are used by the Nord-Lock sales team. Apps that we have designed: Boltight Flange Calculator, Nord-Lock ISO tool, Nord-Lock Torque Calculator.
