Background
Lindab is an international corporate group that develops, manufactures, markets and distributes products and system solutions for the construction industry in the construction and ventilation sector. Lindab has over 5,000 employees and is established in over 30 countries. Avico was chosen by Lindab Ventilation as a partner for mobile app development.
UltraLink is a new and unique technology for accurate and reliable measurement and control of airflow - measurement is conducted via an ultrasonic sensor. UltraLink provides an optimal indoor climate, with the least possible energy consumption.
Our role
In close collaboration with Lindab’s engineers and UX designers we have built a mobile commissioning app called Lindab OneLink. The app was developed as native iOS and Android applications. Communication between the UltraLink device and the OneLink apps is done via Bluetooth.
Result
The OneLink app provides wireless commissioning and management of Lindab’s UltraLink device. Technicians no longer need to use a serial cable and Windows laptop, and since the UltraLink is often installed by the ceiling – there’s less need for climbing ladders as well.
